The Powerscreen® Trakpactor 480SR horizontal shaft impactor is engineered for processing soft to medium-hard primary and secondary materials, such as natural rock and construction materials like asphalt, as well as recycling and demolition waste.

Material is delivered to the large feed hopper, which includes a vibrating grizzly feeder with a selectable crusher bypass option and an optional fines discharge conveyor. The system’s load sensing technology ensures that the wide crusher inlet receives a steady flow of pre-screened material, minimizing unnecessary wear on the crusher.

The SR section is fully detachable, thanks to quick-release hydraulics and electrics. The recirculating conveyor pivots into a transport position along the machine’s side and can also switch between recirculating and stockpiling positions for added versatility.
